Casualty Stage Make-Up with Susan McLymont
Tuesday 27th March, 7pm - 9pm, YWCA Hall, Coupar Angus.
Realistic scars and burns workshop - hosted by the Coupar Angus YWCA participants learnt the tricks of the trade from stage make-up artist Susan McLymont.

Comment by Gail Balie:"The workshop was advertised around the town by flyers that I had made up although most of the girls who attended were girls who already attended our youth clubs.

There were 17 participants in total aged 9-19 years old (all girls). The girls all really enjoyed taking part and the thing that surprised them most was the fact that they could not believe at the beginning of the session that they would be able to make realistic looking wounds. However after a few tips from Susan they were soon on their way to creating some of the ugliest looking burns, cuts, black eyes and scabs that I have ever seen. Being able to see the results of their own work really pleased them."
